Warrior vs wizard

Yer wiz should have met strike and blizzard. 3 second root and a 5x attack met strike. If a war got caught under a met 5shot met strike id expect him to die.

But that's not the case is it? As I said, our only option is to tank and deal damage over time. Last night's War I went in mc kit for a laugh. Did a cop with 1640mc and 70% fire landed 4k on wummy..... If he'd of unloaded on me I'd of been dead. He had the cheek to moan about receiving that damage.... Imagine if I landed an arma on him and he died. Do you not think everyone would be on here crying even more?

Yer tdb needed charging but shield also went down faster depending on how many hits u take. I’m pretty sure that ain’t the case here. They’re shield never drops.

Still does just shield initial cast last 15 mins every hit takes away time
 
TDB should just cut through a shield.. thats how it was on D server.. should be the same here even tho Arcadia has evolved, the basic settings or principles should stay the same.. like TDB hitting through shield.. or if not then atleast make ITD cut through shield cause tbh even getting high ITD is as hard as getting high PA or the others

Making ITD ignore PDR makes sense to me , not gunna be game changing coz its a hard stat to stack
 
Comparing anything at all to "how things used to be" makes zero logical sense. This is a different server with different spells, different skills, different items and on a completely different scale. Things have changed for a reason. If you had people running around on dragon server with 1000 dc/mc/sc the whole thing would be completely broken, everyone would be 1 hitting each other all day long, those things just didn't scale in a suitable way and had to be changed to make things sensible and fun.

If you want to play with dragon server settings find a server that runs 1.4 files and play that, this is arcadia where things are the way they are.

All classes have ways to mitigate each other's defences and attacks, it's a balancing act, you can't have kit that does everything all at the same time. These ways have been described and demonstrated many MANY times already and we're still hearing "it's impossible" NO IT IS NOT, if you can't do it's because you just can't do it. But other people can. Learn and adapt.
 
A lot of small changes over time have all gone towards getting warrior stronger and stronger.

Res helms
Pot speed changes, because they have high hp and awakened! add in a regen stone and a rej armour. These things with shoulder dash just make a warrior un kill able.

Last time I brought this up didn't go down well. However with auto run, the shoulder dash delay is ridiculous, simply put if you dash when your still running you don't take damage for 2 seconds and when dash ends there's no step to run again your already running. Rinse repeat. It's a lot of things put together which make this, hp regen. Weak ranged damage, pot speed and high res.

How's a wiz not being able to lower a warriors hp when there dashing around the map any different to a warrior not being able to kill a wiz in close range. I mean ain't wiz ranged dps?

I'm not against trying to fix things but it's certainly not just wiz which needs looking at.

Here's a suggestion to that end then, remove PDR altogether and triple the damage on all wiz ranged spells. That would be a fair equivalence.
 
Haha imagine if the team added a dark guard that ignored tdb....

Add dark guards if we can have helms ignoring main wiz spells we can have them ignore warrior spells too.
 
I guess it's because for so long warriors have been able to 1/2 hit everyone now they can't it's a sudden problem. Now they have to grind down your health just as you have to do with them it's broken.

There really isn't an easy fix or solution, warriors wouldn't like the outcome of balance when they couldn't get anywhere near a wiz because of the ranged damaged.

Right now taos absolutely destroy a wiz with just toxic gas and warriors out sustain a wiz. But because wiz ain't dieing it's all tears on the forum's.

100% more chance of me dieing in a 90% pdr kit than me delivering damage fast enough to kill a war in full dc/pa kit.

But warriors have it hard.

I'm curious how many of the warriors complaining have actually tried pvp on a wiz
