After investing heavily in both, they are absolutely ridic.

My yim can aoe green poison for more than 800 a tick. Most taos can only achieve half that. Surely that's not right?

Brings me to tiger, 16 seconds for slow on my one and 13 seconds on blue.... I mean.... See its things like this which cause such unbalance. You go to a fight and get blued and have to stand still for 13 seconds that's not a fun fight.

Surely we can have them rewarding without them being completely ridiculous in pvp.

I use frost guard every fight, it's a worthy investment. On the other hand loki fights are just no fun due to the massive amount of slows and tigers running around. Pets are part of the problem, poison resistance not being very clear is another issue imo.

Slow is more than enough especially a ranged slow. But a 13 second ranged blue, 0 skill 0 fun. My tiger has blue locked bosses making them stupidly easy to kill on a wiz. Can only imagine how that amplifies on a warrior.

Honestly a few bosses refuse to slow. Many do not though. Psn recov on some bosses is insane. My slow 71 on kit is usually more than enuff tho.

But I agree - often getting hit with 13second blues in the middle of PK and you're pretty stuck just waiting to get killed or TT.

Then the poison on the OP yims just rips through HP on a wiz, almost faster than HP pots. I'm constantly running away from the PK with poison on me, only to find me standing for ages using HP to try and keep alive from the poison that's stuck on me!

might just be me but i think anything para slow etc. should be capped at 5 seconds, pois from pets and mobs should be less successful as well atm its stupid how much u get poisoned and for how long anywhere u go.
 
It’s a difficult one as if you nerf, a lot of people who invested will get upset.

Not sure if it would help but maybe increase stats on other evo pets. Dtz and dragon both need a boost and dkaz needs 15 lives imo
 
The time on poison needs capped urgently. I accept that a yim that's had 6k gg chucked at it will do a lot of damage, but it should be for like 20 seconds or something, not 3 minutes. It's at the point now where if you run out of antidotes and someone spawns a yim on you that's it game over might as well just TT, no kit or skill will change that. It's anti-competitive and not fun.

i think its passed just yims tho. anywhere u go that has poison mobs its instant and your screen is filled with poison etc. I even use antidotes in pb and the likes and its still insane, you literally spend most of your hunt poisoned
 
totally agree with that, i dont see an issue with pets being op for PVE if u want to put the time and money into making them that way. but for PVP they shouldnt be a drastic game changer like that are right now. spend more time fighting off pets and trying to live then actual players.

now i will say the only pets that should have some abilities are taos when it comes to PVP. def needs the perfect testing as to not be to OP but enough where it keeps the tao competive.
 
excuse me.. i spent over 4k just so my pets can do all that 16 sec freeze.. I would be pretty disappointed if it gets nerfed..

rather then nerfing pets... other means should be available to defend yourself.. those pots you get from fox cave (instant freeze remove) are pretty useful.. most of you carry star potion which is a hassle to get.. so i dont see why these instant freeze remove pots being a big issue getting them.. cause they are pretty easy to to get
 
didnt ste spend a ridiculous amount on his troll only to have it nerfd with no warning? doesnt matter how much money someone spends on a pet if its OP it shouldnt be allowed in pvp

I've put 4.5k into my tiger and 5k into my yim (was lucky enough to have the stone drop or would of cost me 6k)

From someone who has spent £600 on these pets they 100% should not be in pvp.
Thrawing pots remove slow not freeze. But what goods that when in 30 seconds you will be frozen again? Ya can't carry 10 antidotes and 10 Thrawing pots to every hunt/fight anyway.

Right now they have a huge impact in pvp. A pet should be something to help not something to completely decide a fight.

I never actually thought about making them pve but that's not a bad shout if I'm honest. 1 less thing to balance in pvp.

Just to add I'd be disappointed for them to change, but I'd prefer them to change and user count to flourish and have fun in game. Than have 10 people all with op pets playing.

3seconds for slow/stun/freeze is enough imo

Tbh I have been saying this for a long time. Slow has gotten insane. 3 sec is fine when your being spammed with it every 1.5sec

I'm really surprised no one's come in on their high horse and said "uSE PsN REcOv RuNeS"
