Guide Weapon Upgrade // Armour Upgrade Quests

Just in case anybody is having difficulty accessing their usual walk through guides i thought it useful to have a back-up of the popular ones

Elysian Weapon Upgrades
NPC- Planes of Archeron (lvl 185+) 718:141

First Upgrade -
1x Elysian Gem(L)
1x Divine Crystal

Second Upgrade -
1x Elysian Source ( 3x Elysian Gem L )
1x Divine crystal
1x Ancient Dragon Fang ( Drops from last Dragon in Blue Dragon Palace )

Evil Mir+ Weapon Upgrades (lvl 198)
NPC- Elysium, Residential District, Palace 70:301 Vendor name-Isuki

Third Ugrade -
1x Alu Amulet
1x Firegem (XL)
1x Enchanted Diamond
1x Bone Pile ( Infernal Lord Sauron )
1x Maggot Claw ( Infernal Maggot Queen )

Catacombs+ Weapon upgrades (lvl 196)
NPC-Elysium, Shopping District, 180:130, Prison Vendor name- Yuto

Third Upgrade
1x HorridSilkBall (XL)
1x AluAmulet - (Alu Champ)
1x Enchanted Diamond
1x Dark Devil Tongue - (Infernal DarkDevil)
1x Mutant Mushroom - (Infernal HellMutantHybrid)

Its worth noting that it looks like all of the Third Weapon updrages require the largest (XL) of the quest items used for upgrade 1 and 2 ( fire, dark, horrid, Corrupt etc ) 1x Alu Amulet, 1x Enchanted Diamond and 2 other secret ingredients obtainable from killing infernal bosses, present the level 2 upgraded weapon in hand to the relavent NPC and it will tell you what the secret ingredients are, this is as much help as i can give at this time. All of the NPC's are located around the Elysium map.

Marbled Stone Tomb Weapon Upgrades (Lvl 190)
NPC- MST Maze U,R,R,R,U,R,R,U Blacksmith, Smith.

First Upgrade -
1x Enchanted Mineral (L) - ( crypt Diggers, Lost Crypts )
1x Soul Prism (L)

Second Upgrade -
1x Enchanted Diamond
1x Soul Prism (XL)
1x White Boar Tusk or Bonetalon or Thunderclaw- Class Dependant

The pillars in Crystal temple. 8 pillars spawn at the same time as troll King, each pillar drops a power orb, and 8 are needed to wake up the troll King so you'll usually have high levels going after them for that reason. It's on an 8 hour timer so keep checking and you'll get lucky eventually. They occasionally pop up on AH if 2 different groups are going for troll at the same time and neither group gets enough orbs to wake it so they just sell them. Power orbs also expire after 24hrs so best to get everything else you need first and get the orb last

What a faff! Thanks for the explanation. Will crack on with the rest and save that for last :D
 
Tbh, these upgrade items need to be dropping more, it`s took me a year to gain my first Acheron Relic, people just get bored and move on. The quest items need to drop a little more frequently or be tradeable. As a casual player, they aint no way i am ever doing any 2nd upgrade, i have a life and responsabilities

I Agree some of the upgrades are stupid, then you start collecting ely ore for them upgrades lol, need a new planes area where they all high level upgrade items drop.

The first upgrade needs 9 fragments to make a relic, second upgrade needs 27 fragments to make a glowing relic. When I was hunting for those I'd get about 1 fragment per hour on average, even for a casual player that shouldn't take more than a month or two

Where you hunting to get 1 per hour? and what mobs drops them? I need to hunt these for my warrior

Go try now, ain`t no one per hour that is for sure. The Last Word is correct defo best place and time but still not one per hour and even if one per hour at present was achievable, 27 hours for one part of the upgrade quest is a piss take... Simple answer to me is make them tradable which imo would also help the economy of the game.

Planes 4F. I'd start at the door and clear as I go, when the map respawns I jump back to the start and clear again so I was able to catch all the reds and blues as I go while keeping eradication meter maxed

West Bichon Armour Upgrades​

 
I got 5 Acheron relics in about 20 mins other night.

Tradeable materials please please please. No idea why these have been made acc bound since I last played. So many of the materials from bosses could be sold for 1 or 2 mill gold as well can’t sell them anymore.

That’s an incredible feat from my experience, when upgrading lavadevilarmour it took me a solid 2 months to create the arch relics, unless its since been altered to make it easier for you guys? Agree with the boss materials alot of them have a price they can be sold for however none of the merchants are able to buy them, seems odd.

They used to be tradeable but time bound, people didn't like that so he removed the expiry time and made them account bound instead. Need to pick one or the other, if both restrictions are removed it completely eliminates any challenge and prestige behind the upgrades. Personally I prefer account bound over time bound as I can take my time doing collections or prepare future upgrades that I'm not ready for yet.

I do agree that it would be nice if we could sell things we don't need to an NPC for a bit of gold though. I think the reason GM made them un-sellable to trader is because the way the game code is it would then be available for other people to buy from the same npc. The solution to that I guess would be a dedicated npc that buys quest items but doesn't sell anything.
