Things are looking quiet in Arcadia..

I don't know man, they seem a little op apart from maybe healing aura.. it sounds like the druid's tranquility from WoW, but again I must say with mass healing already having a tick and able to be spammed it would have to offer something different wouldn't it.

Stoneform on a warrior sounds like a good shout too but instead of giving outright immunity it could increase ac/amc for 90sec and decrease dc and accuracy for 120sec or something , with no hp regen --- edit: just realised protection field exists, maybe stoneform could increase all defences for 90sec, just a thought.

I really hope taos get some aoe attacks rather than more support spells. We have to swap spells on the fly as it is!

The stone spell for war is basically a support/tank spell. Allows the war to run in lion roar then turn to stone becoming 0dc tank for 10secs. Somebody could be about to die on a hunt, war lion roars and stones himself allowing the people struggling to compose themselves whilst war is being a tank.

Its a great idea. Sorry that I didn't understand what you meant in your first post but after having it explained to me I do like the concept of it, and Andy has more than enough experience to round the edges and balance it out

Maybe also have a battle cry that increases party members max hp whilst in their radius too, that would help them support the group and be more tank focused.

Concept of lion roar already paras the mobs around you and causes them to run away. Only benefit it would have is pvp. But no class should be immune from damage in pvp.
 
very disappointed got my 148 wizz to ice 100% and fire skills still better:( tbh would be far better to buff skills already in place.. maybe hero quest lvl 2 lvl3 etc
skills are fine just need a boost. example ( figures not correct just example) ice blast lvl1 say 300. lvl 2 400 lvl3 500 ? add to quests new heros quest every 20 levels will sort heros quest in steps 120 130 140 etc. also think rise of arc skill tree is the dogs

Some spells I think would be good
Ying yang blast for tao single attack hp steal
Hiding for tao
Healing field for tao

Mass t bolt for wiz


War new ethereal blades bigger hit area using dark/lightning or dark/fire
Chm range extension

I would like it but for warriors it does zero. We have spells that say they use holy Dmg like beserk, damage field and protection field. When I use holy dmg items it does zero to them spells. Doesn’t extend the duration and doesn’t add any extra stats so I don’t know what the purpose of it is on a warrior. I’d love some way to prevent getting the upgrades we don’t want and a way to influence getting the stats we want instead of it being totally random.

Also I think the biggest improvement that could be made would be to remove the cool down taos get when they equip a life stone. Taos should be able to use resurrection as soon as they equip the stone. The cool down should only begin AFTER the first resurrection was successful. In my opinion.[/QUOTE]

This would never be fair, wars can BC, wizzes can trans, taos just get hit as it is so improving the range would be a ridiculous advantage.

just wanted to post and say sorry for being a little quiet lately. And no proper reboot!

The ongoing skill review is a massive effort and even the consideration to remove a skill from game is taking a long time.. you can imagine with something like 120 skills in game, if we are lucky to manage each one in an hour that's 120 hours work. We are also looking to add around 3/4 new skills for each class up to level 184.

On top of that we are looking to get Ancient items in game (which have changed somewhat since the original conception) - this is not a item set, it is a rare mythic item upgrade containing a special socket for unique upgrades.

Plus, content, more content.

Game is really dead atm as most peeps have gone back to work or down the pub lol. Need a mini event please.

Imagine then a big grp hunt. 6 warriors 4 wizzards 3 taos. The cave that shall be any challenge at all to that grp need to be insane! One warrior after the other (meanwhile the stone spell colldown) para all mobs. No1 will get hurt as the wizzys and rest of wars just pick all mobs of...

No it not para mobs, it para the player.
 
So you want a pvp war para spell?

I feel people don't fully understand what DS is trying to say in regards to this stone skill, it turns the user into stone making him unable to move or attack but giving increased regen so the warr can't act as a "tank" for a short period. Its not to mass para mobs or another player para, it's gimps the users damage in return for regen for a short time. Either people just don't get it or they just taking the piss

This is the spell
It’s called fortify.
You would use it when low on hp and about to die so u can regen. Or you could use it when hunting in a group. Run in lion roar and then fortify so u become a decoy/tank so the group can pass/clear the mobs. Can be used to save your group if theyre in trouble. Not much use in pvp. Let’s say I run into a group and use it, when it wares off I’m totally vulnerable. The 8 seconds or so I’m stoned my opponents can all lock onto me swinging so the second I unstone I’m insta dead.

This is healing field. Lasts 60 seconds at lvl 3.
If you stand within the 5x5 aura that’s surrounding the tao then u get heals.

Ying yang blast is basically a soul fireball that’s blue and steals hp from its victims.

The reason I have stopped playing is because I feel taos have fallen off a cliff compared to other classes. We don't do anything particularly well.

We have buffs and heal and that's not enough, I don't want to depend on group hunting to level or leeching off wizs or only leveling during events. Why do bosses on a tao it you can use a war or a wizz with 5 hulks.
agree. I have a tao of 181 lvl with almost all items celestial. I have over 700 ac / amc, 175 agility, +1300 sc with no buff and 10k hp. With all those I die so fast that I almost don't have time to tt. there is no chance of real damage, we mostly cant cause anyone any problems (1 vs 1). the pets as well, die extremely fast. it doesn't even make sense to make them blue. if I go to the orc in a short time only the elemental remains. also in the orc, any mob can be killed faster with a wizz of 160. In the end, simply, I don't like playing tao anymore, and if you look in game, less and less taos...

I almost forgot. it's kind of depressing to do lvl with tao. in february in that lunar event I followed the people in the guild a little. a wizz of +180 made 1 lvl in one day. It took me 3 ... 4 days

As many have said we are the forggotten class , buff bot etc ....

Here are few things I would like to see change in our class,

1) Holy - this attribute needs to be buffed its the staple stat or should be of a Tao all damage not just healing - elmental dark etc should be based around this stat .
The damage multipliers of e.g. Thousand Swords is hardly affected by Holy but more on Ice - tested in trainer swapping out holy gear etc better ICE thats why many stack ice..
2)Posion bags and amulets - these consumables cost not only gold but so much bag space - Solution is simple make 1 bag slot combine them into a Bag Amulet that has both , make it refilable at a "held city" so they get income , and please make it class specific so that wiz warriors dont get that extra % buff for free.... or make it better stats for Tao,s and please please remove Amulet timeout --------7 days
3)Pets, would benifit us greatly if they have a walk radius of say no more than 20 units from owner on attack mode , this would prevent pet death by dumb Shinny wondering off to its death , also it would be nice if you could select summon and dimiss individual pets , aim of this is so if 1 pet dies you could park up rest in town and solo lvl that individual pet up to lvl 7 without the other 2 pets soaking up mobs. Pet lvling mob areas are always crowded at event times so the ability just to lvl 1 up quickly would be appreciated.
4)One buff cast - Hunt buffs AC AMC etc the staple group buffing would be nice if combined in 1 buff. ie once the Buff spells are maxed at lvl 3 a quest to get a new spell or a amulet that enables buff all maybe like the revive stone just a thought.
5)155 -170 Weapons , If you compare these to other classes they are somewhat lacklustre in not only stats but also in availability e.g. Jixing Dao 160-167 worse stats even when a good Artifact 1 is made than a lvl 145-150 Holycrystal Hoigi I know I have refined quite a few potentially nice weapons but the SC and stats attributes never better HolyCrystals.

These just few things that cross my mind , I am sure there were others i thought of but getting old and my memory not as sharp as it was ....

Agree we need a better day to day leveling Spell or attribute that can keep pace with other classes , mass confusion with no exp loss if mob kills mob while confused all exp goes to caster just an idea ....
