This makes me want to start making some mir videos again.

What do you use to record? I tried using windows capture (win+G) but it produces massive files with shitty colour compression.

I use Streamlabs OBS Studio for other things and gave it a go for Mir and it worked well, but just wondered if there was other decent alternatives to consider.

Been thinking about doing some speedrun videos of certain things just for a bit of fun

Mainly, I just use streamlabs OBS and put it all together live. Any way to cut down on workload by preparing everything ahead of time is IMO the best way.

I do record stuff using windows capture as well, although I find that even with a beast of a system it kills framerate.
