Sun potions

You can make star pots but we have all out grown them, maybe have an increased size, something for noobs to be able to make and sell on to high lvl players to make money

I was thinking more along the lines of all bosses and subs dropping them because atm boss and sun drops are tiny and atrocious
 
I am firmly with you on this one. In the old days of Mir sunpots were an essential item, and today in my view, with the extreme slowness on HP and HP regeneration (even with items that boost it) its kinda crazy they are not in game.

I get that Scorp wants to make the game a challenge, but there is a difference between being challenging and being unfairly difficult.

Currently, sun pots are in-game but they are only really of much use to people under lvl 90, which is a level people can pass in literally a under a day by using quests and lvling in noob areas, which makes them pretty redundant in most cases.

The best solution would be to either re-stat current sunspots, or create new XL Sunnies that give 1000 HP and MP per use.

Yes right now I think it’s unfairly difficult. It would still be a time consuming challenge even after some major nerfs across various regions.

Can we have a trial with sun pots dropping from bosses plssssss.

If I remember rightly, the StarPotions are still available for crafting in PI. Is this pretty outdated these days?

They are the equivalent of super sun potions and come in both M and L sizes.
 
I am aware of the StarPotions but IMO they are way too much hassle and time-consuming to bother with. In my time playing I have only ever seen 1 and that is because someone dropped it, other than that I have never heard of anyone taking the time to make them.

I couldn't even tell you how they are made as when i heard what was needed I was like "nah, screw that, I want to play the game not waste time farming moss and stuff to make something that is so disposable".

You would be better just adding StarPotions to the droplists of bosses, supers and champs.

StarPotion(M) can be crafted in PI, but it takes like 5 mins to collect the materials to make 1, and it gives about 20% of the HP most people have these days, you can use a normal HP pot and regen that amount in about 5 seconds, which makes it not really worth the hassle. When I was very new to the server I made a few and tried selling them but would be lucky to get 100k gold per pot, which simply wasn't worth the time it took to do, even when making them in batches.

StarPotion(L) as far as I know is only available as a reward from one of the Giovanni quests in Tristam, can't remember which quest though.

I think if they were made larger and dropped from bosses with maybe a 1/10 drop rate to prevent the server simply being flooded with them, they could be a subtle bit of assistance without causing too much of a problem
 
I made few chars loaded i encourage u guys do same, u have the time to play then this is what u need to do, its unlikely any method from keeping from u dying or be demi gods will be introduced at the moment

Star potion easy enough to make, most people make other pots for various reasons filled with stuff to make leveling or bossing easier and these star potions are no different, just requires a bit of effort but all ingredients easy to get ��

This is simply not true. Most potions can be added to, to make them better. to make star potions you have to go and grind all the items from caves that dont give any ex or any other sort of bonus. It's a false economy. You do not need to collect items to make any of the other potions, you simply buy them. Its not the same thing at all.
 
Happy to entertain the idea. We never really recovered from the U turn on Project69 where all potions were instant and pvp lasted until you used a full bag of potions :biggrin-new:
 
Don’t think people realise that star pots drop and can be made, they just want it to be easy an no effort, you get out what you put in, unless it’s hobgoblin warlord then you don’t !!

Yes we know star pots can be made. I would probably go thru 10+ to kill a boss. We want to be able to buy them from a shop or get them dropped pre made from bosses. Crafting and storing individual sun pots is not a idea I like. I already have to make and store
ac pots
amc pots
dc pots
acc pots
agil pots
exp pots
finding pots
magic finding pots
gold finding pots.
I run out of time and space to store individual pots. One star pot needs a dd horn which spawns every 30 mins? How are we supposed to make loads of them. I’d much prefer to just be able to buy them from npc in bundles of 6.
Or I don’t mind making them if I can turn them into bundles of 6

Left hand was 5 fingers on belt hammering pots and the right hand was hammering bundles making sure you had pots to drink. No time to move..
