Shoulder dash

Cool down is way too short. Takes 3 seconds for it to run the animation, by the time a warrior stops they can sd again. Need putting on same cool down as bc/trans.

Not sure if bc cooldown would make sense, a mele vs 2 ranged classes you need some degree of mobility however being able to perma spam it for iframes is not the solution.

Even if the cooldown was 1 second longer than the animation takes, it would give that little bit of delay. Other classes can't run at all if they are being constantly hit

If it was my game I would prob set it to 4 seconds and then monitor the impact on the next wall war and go from there

Think the animation takes 1.8 seconds, maybe you are witnessing a player running after a dash

they shouldnt be able to constantly dash and be invincible tho no? At last nights war there was 18 Immortals and 1 chong , granted hes a gd player but no way he should be able to "dodge" 18 of us lmao

Sorry I ment 2, then the 1 second the have before they can go again, Currently makes them invulnerable to the majority of damage thrown at them. Or regen is now that high they can just dash around till full again.

Either way just some feedback.

Toodles

Via does the same. Dashes around then RT as soon as anyone lands a hit on him then spends the next hour trying to taunt us about how rubbish we all are

Clearly Chong learned from the best :p

Technically, as far as the server is concerned, they go from start spot to end spot instantly. It is just your client that is wiggling the character across the screen. This is why they seem invincible, you are attacking a shadow.

That also means they spend 2 seconds chilling out on the destination of dash. Might be worth some testing :p

Sadly not as plausible as you may think. By the time you run to the destination as the animation is equal to running speed. They have already instant ran for 1 second before dashing again. Most ranged spells won't land so your required to use an aoe spell at the destination, which doesn't do a great deal of damage to being with.

Either way thanks for your reply.

CD on shoulder dash should defo be increased as a warrior i can confirm its broken lol can run through packs of people and not feel a thing >< no skill in that tho calling yourself the best for using a broken skill in sad :D

-200% drops for you

Suppose it's worse for warriors vs warriors as you have no ranged abilities so to speak. But as scorp said you can guess we're they are going to land and tdb the spot you think they will stop at...

Or failing that just accept it as it is. Personally prefer this option. Hence my lack of activity this past month.

You can see the point where they start. The end point is always the same. Drop spells on where he's going to be not where their at. You have to be able to anticipate where someone's going to be not where there at. Good have always done this.

ofcourse u can aim/target where hes going to be a few seconds after the dash starts but its not that easy to tell when that is when the war is legit dashing constantly...

Wouldn't even bother pal lol, legit wasting your time.

Pretty strong insinuation. I'm simply saying not many I've seen here try to anticipate things like this when casting. Most will target where the person is, not where they're going to be in 2-3 seconds.

we are targetting where the war will be, ie ill boreal him a few ticks after sd starts so that damage registers and wizzies will cop where he lands but using another dash and a hp pot , hes outhealed all damage thats has been output on him by the time the dash ends , its invincibility ... I could log a 150 war and hold down dash in pvp if u want to see it

If the window for attack is .2 seconds then it's no wonder, it's possible to get a hit in once and while I'm sure. One thing I've seen on other servers is enforcing a penalty for consecutive uses on a spell such as this. So many ways it could be tweaked.

Tried it on my war. Kinda silly. It would be funny if Andy added random dead floor tiles and watch them bump into a few and get destroyed.
