Rename event to Brolly's event

Seems like this entire event has been geared to one small group who will control everything.

No rares in GG caves rules out us regular players getting a chance at a rare drop.

Main boss is only for lvl 200+ which makes it a very select group and we all know who will control every single boss through PK.

To make it even easier for them, that boss still has server wide early warning systems so they can get their group together and cut out everyone else.

Sub 200 cave is now stupidly overcrowded and puts lvl 185 ish players against up to lvl 200 so again, no chance of anything as we just get PK'd off bosses.

I literally can't think of a single way you could have made this event worse...

Can I get a refund on my GG please?

Same old Arcadia. I’m quite happy just plodding along, not getting bosses in the main game. But it would be nice in the event to get the balance right. If you didn’t think it was right last time, then why not tweak instead of going all or nothing.

I like this server, I like the people. But it’s becoming a real chore for a casual player like me.

The problem I see he has tried to make up for the Xmas mistakes with to many items in the market place etc etc yet only the cream of the crop can boss camp pk etc the average joe blow dont get a look in now at Easter ........
Andy is after all a good GM even if at times he fecks 1 group over in favour of another etc . I noticed each year you get swings and roundabouts its a bit like Marmite you either love it or hate it .
I love him to split the server ................. PK War lovers etc stay on 1 server and PVE move chars to another server would be fun to see the popultaion tallies on each after say 3 months , biggest issue with any event is big boss camping etc etc ................. after so many years he still not figured out a way to solve it ...........................
The way I look at game now is he had my money for a while now , but comes a time like with an old car is it worth repairing it or put it aside and buy a new one and maybe like all classic cars tinker with it when you have time or say sod it and want to invest even more time and effort on it know full well you never get the return you hoped for ........

I'm gonna log in tonight and have a look but remember guys its just Day One, so give it chance and see what happens.

One thing you can almost guarantee is that no drastic changes will happen during the event. The decisions and alterations will now to run the course of Easter and the team will trawl through feedback & data to determine the success of those changes.

Shame really, I did say before that we don't want these changes at Easter of all events but it's done. I would've smashed the GG caves on tao but I'll have to reassess now with the rare drops being removed.

Enjoy the exp but don't forget level cap goes up next month so might be more efficient to work on a character that isn't in heroes league if you have already given up on going for the big prizes.

I don’t think it’s ‘crying’ look at it objectively. It’s near impossible to kill anyone with res kit. There’s a small group of high lvl 24/7 players that control everything in the game. Is that healthy?

The burning kit is irrelevant to me as I’m nowhere near it level wise.

I get the server announcement. Gives everyone the shot - but bosses should be rethought out. Could have to collect/craft random items which change every time to get teleported to a kr for example. There’s multiple ways to resolve or balance these issues.

I think you’re allowed to express that you think it’s a poor system without saying you’re crying. People will just give the server up, there’s a tonne of high levels who PVE and they’re only chance will be to pay stupid prices on things.

I dunno, like the event actually seems okay. I can get over the loot in GG caves as exp is okay and there’s the eggs. But PK is so broken in the game that focusing on public caves is flat out a nightmare.

Mir is mir, fair enough. But there’s probably 12-15 player in game who pretty much control everything. Which is fine, I play casual so it’s irrelevant let them crack on. I would just like a shot of even getting to a boss is all. It’s not crying. It’s just stating opinion.

Put in loads of effort last year camping the main boss nearly all event and got fk all same with other events shame if main boss has changed this year though

It isn't healthy at all you gotta play most of your life quit your job just to even compete with bosses in events and enjoy pvp which most people wont do lol

Of course it’s not. And that’s it in a nutshell for me. Events were the times where the casual players could have a chance at something or at least get to a boss.

It’s fine how it is I’ll take some exp and relax. I’m not crying about it as some people suggest people that disagree with them are. Events are like the magic of the FA cup where maybe an Accrington Stanley can reach the final.

I think you’d think differently if you were level 170 now. I have stated numerous times I won’t get there level wise. Because I don’t have the time. Mir is and always has been about time.

Skill has been reduced in this server due to the high res kits.

It's a catch 22, isn't it because if a full ElyOrb kit was easy, we'd all have it, which means people that do have it, have put in some time & effort. Ok, granted, all the no lifers have teamed up and would rather enjoy playing the game without facing real competition, but that specific situation is out of the hands of the dev team.

I think the distaste for Immortals members has pushed them closer and now they enjoy seeing this frequent moaning. Either keep quiet and avoid pvp, play the content that you enjoy, or grow some balls and stop logging on until things change. That message will be received louder than any post written on this forum.

Unfortunately, objectivity is the last thing on some people's minds on this server. Ultimately, there is one person tasked with such objectivity but sometimes he feels distant from a middle ground.

Yeah for sure, I do agree in a way it’s not healthy having the small controlling group. But for me it’s fine as I sometimes can only play a few hours a week so never going to compete.

Hey, I get that not everyone likes how others play, but camping bosses is a valid part of the game mechanics just like competing for them is. We’re playing within the rules, same as anyone else.

We’re not trying to ruin anyone’s fun, just playing the game our way, and yes having fun doing it. No one’s stopping others from doing the same, and we don’t expect special treatment just fairness.

I agree that everyone’s opinion should be welcome, but it cuts both ways. Calling people "less salubrious characters" and claiming a few have the game "sewn up" doesn’t exactly open the door to polite discussion either.

We’re all here to enjoy the game. Let’s keep it respectful.

Funny how putting in time and effort turns into being called “no lifers” the moment someone doesn’t like losing. We play the game, just like anyone else can—nothing’s stopping others from teaming up, grinding, or competing. That’s on them, not us.

If people are more focused on complaining than improving, that’s their choice. But don’t paint us as the problem just because we’re organized and active.

You say the devs can’t change the situation—cool, then maybe it’s time to stop crying about it and play smarter. Or don’t. Either way, we’ll still be here play

Nothing will ever make some of these people happy. When the drops were in GG caves, they cried. Now that they’re in normal caves, they’re still crying. Doesn’t matter where the content is they’ll always find something to complain about.
