This event I have not bothered to much with them due to work etc
But as you get a counter each sub killed it’s easy to keep track on how many you do .
I know it’s a lottery with that said it seems that the grave robbers have a habit to just spit out pure gems and pots for making orbs and nothing else not even a 90k scroll
I reckon I had this about 30 times
The other 2 robbers give a chance of brains etc and normally a rune of some sort
Anyone else had this experience

I took time off work for this event, and was prered to spend big, but I smashed it on the first day then just kinda gave up. I'm not fussed about drops or exp, I just want to have fun, and frankly the caves are far too easy to keep my attention. Ended up playing another game for a few days then came back for the double supers lunar at least that was a bit of fun.

Did just over 100 restless captains and had 2 useful drops, one Ely thing and one boneforged thing. But that's fine. My only dream at this point is that the caves are made harder so that it's actually worthwhile making nice kit.

Most of my time, effort and expense in this game has gone towards building good kits, and it seems I've wasted my time if people in shop kit can do all the same things without any effort :(
 
I've had a few nice bits drop in GG caves but probably will just recover some of GG I've plugged into it .

I think the event is lacking as others said it's too easy and becomes boring and repetitive . The main map is also a waste of time for anyone above 195 .

The bone wraith items also have 5% holy res which is no good to anyone . Wizzy and Tao weps not worth wasting brains on . The warrior weapon is probably the only thing worth putting effort on?
 
I got nothing hugely exciting or useful for me, but gave me a chance to earn some good exp at my level so happy with that.

Probably did around 8 GG caves which was enough for me.
 
Yeah I must say I found the gg caves a little underwhelming after about 1.8k gg I just given up on them and stay in normal cave exp is decent but other than that its been pretty poor for me. I had lil bit more luck with the grave robbers and got 2 extraction tools and few runes s and xs tbh the best thing I found about the gg cave is the runes you can trade with the zombie brains and rotten flesh you gather.


Not sure if this has been touched on before but a guild cave based around the event would be pretty cool kind like bdp. Can only be accessed once a day during the event given a certain time limit etc be pretty cool.


Also what’s up with this upgrading system aswell😂 it’s like whatever char your playing on it lessens then chances of stats you want. For instance 3 times I rolled sa on Elysian jian all 3 times it had fire dmg do you know the mathematical odds of that happening given the all the possible outcomes 😩😂😂.

But I appreciate the work that went into the event and overall I lvld pretty nicely so happy with that😊.
 
IMO the drops in the GG caves are the worst they have been. Alot of the lower price gameshop items that used to drop frequently have been replaced with Zombie parts, for items that seem uber-rare, meaning for most of the time in 30GG caves you are being rewarded with an item that has very little use.

I get that events are needed to keep the server alive with the money they make, but I'm at the point where I think it would be better if Scorp just asked us to donate every few months instead of rinsing us in this way.

It wouldn't hurt the server if more items dropped. It seems they have been made stingy for the sake of it, which is not cool.

(out of 31 30GG caves, I only had one item worth keeping, an Ely brace).

😂thank you I really didn’t have clue where to start to figure that out.
I just stuck with 6.6% holy dmg and 2.3 per atm hopefully when I get few more wep des i can roll something bit better.
 
Ive done sixty 30gg caves on my wiz and yes i noticed the main "drop" gravedigger has a lot of the times not even gave an item. The only item i have really had is a recall brace. So i think ive been extremely unlucky this event. Im nearly out of gg but main reason i was doing gg caves was for the exp anyway and now gonna jump on tao and stay in main cave collecting the bits to try to create a good few large cave tokens to use near end of event. Im surprised i havent had any of the new items at all. As i would of liked to upgrade and use them, but is what it is i suppose.

100% this.

gave up on the 30gg caves, not one rare item.

No upgrade items like ely ore or minerals at all.

And spectres made is extremely difficult to target mobs as they were UNDER dead spectres.

Felt like a waste of time tbh.

Levels of items dropping for 197 toon is 186/188. Very little items my level.

This was my first event andI think overall I was disappointed on a couple of things.

Firstly, to not get any upgrades on my kit in terms of new gear. So drop chances weren’t great for things like celest which still seem quite rare. In game it’s so difficult to get a good drop I have to rely on AH which is a nightmare. I thought in the event I might have at least seen something useful, but didn’t.

Bosses, these were being hard camped. I could t event get a look at the grim reaper. I wish there was a system where we could get an equal shot. Or even on x Gg caves get a shot at a KR or something. As a casual player I can’t hard camp a boss. And in the 160-180 and lvl 162 I ain’t going to be able to fight a lvl 178 for it.

For exp the GG cave was good with a potion and pumpkin, but dropped off without as I progressed. Ultimately it felt really engaging to begin but then just became a bit frustrating. Especially on the last GG cave I did where the restless captain just disappeared. One minute on map the next not. That just sums up my mir luck.

It happens all the time. You can wish but the santa ain't heard it. If you play solo, its competition. Try to form a small group around your lvl and have fun in big map all the way to KR. And as for your kit, i said earlier about many other kit is cheaper than celestial. It's rare but if u don't work something on GG, then you will keep crying like a baby. Don't expect the price will go lower. Join guild and I'm pretty sure the guild member can assist u.

Let’s agree to disagree. Nobody is crying to like a baby. I expressed an opinion. Take it or leave it, it doesn’t really matter to me.

I play the game and enjoy it but you’d find it a different journey if you weren’t already the level you are with the kit you have.

People here seem to like to exaggerate to the end of the universe. If you mention anything even slightly negative you're "crying" and if you mention anything even slightly positive you're "bragging". Some people just want to put others down, it says a lot more about them than it says about you
 
I used 6k GG and only got a tool and Elysian armor. I don’t get it—some people spend just 300 GG and get double the rewards. Is there something wrong? Or do certain items drop more easily for lower-level players? Honestly, I only used all that GG for two reasons: to get the tool and to level.

Who spent 300gg and got 2 elysian armours? I'd love to know so I can congratulate them on their extraordinary luck
 
Thanks for the feedback everyone it's always interesting to review the opinions of the boots on the ground!

From a development point of view, as always with events we quite literally copy the previous event's drop tables and see what players wanted more of (or less of). For example this time around (compared to Legs & Webs) we doubled SR drops in private maps and tripled them in the main event maps.

Obviously the challenge for us is to anticipate the changes in desire as something that was desirable last event may not be so desirable this event.

What's the experience with runes this time around?

I did find alot less runes and upgrade items dropping this event. and even stones didnt drop that often either.
