Login Server offline for reboot

I ran Legend_of_Mir2_install.exe and chose same directory for installation. Asked about overwriting existing files and I chose "yes to all". It was quite quick and then launched login in screen. I logged in fine, tested to see if lvl 129 char could go to Ant cave which according to email is lvl 90 max. I went in no problem.

Also checked mir.exe and mir2.exe in folder and the files that are installed are same dates as before running the install file.

How do I know if the patch is installed?
 
If the patch didn't work you would log in game and get kicked out right away with an error message "out of date"

you've misunderstood, the caves themselves aren't restricted, they never have been and haven't changed. It's only the event caves that are level restricted, the email tells you which caves to go to access each event cave
