Bug Report Fire gem and dark gem chips

Clear thunder pass, all mobs, then wait for respawn and there will be loads of supers and champions, do a second run through and clear them with extermination meter full and treasure stone / drop elixer. Will take about an hour for a fast player with good damage and should get approximately one M of each fire/dark.

I think the GM has changed the drop rate. Now it’s as hard to get as the Vault Key, with no pattern at all. I only get about two Fire or Dark chips a week, and after that, no matter how many aura mobs I kill, they don’t drop anymore. Maybe it’s because too many people were upgrading MIR weapons too easily, so they adjusted it. Since 2016, the GM has been making constant changes, making it really frustrating to play—you can’t tell if your account is restricted or if you’re just unlucky. Just like in this post from May 2023, even now in 2024, I still can’t get an L , so I can’t even imagine how I’d get an XL feeling really hopeless

I think the GM has changed the drop rate. Now it’s as hard to get as the Vault Key, with no pattern at all. I only get about two Fire or Dark chips a week, and after that, no matter how many aura mobs I kill, they don’t drop anymore. Maybe it’s because too many people were upgrading MIR weapons too easily, so they adjusted it. Since 2016, the GM has been making constant changes, making it really frustrating to play—you can’t tell if your account is restricted or if you’re just unlucky. Just like in this post from May 2023, even now in 2024, I still can’t get an L , so I can’t even imagine how I’d get an XL feeling really hopeless

After event is finished I'll give this another go and see if I experience the same

I dunno your issue mate, i fully upgraded my tao and war em weps myself by living in thunder pass and map just before em kr. All i needed was an erad wep and full meter. Each clear would give me a few smalls, if not a medium of each. I think fire and dark are one of easiest upgrade materials to gather tbh

Now enchanted minerals.....those are a bastard to gather. Need two xl to make my wep 198. I could cry lol

For the harder ones I just use the quests. Takes 5 mins to get quota, then wait an hour. Do that 3x per day you'll be done in 2 months, total cost 400gg

I think I know what the problem is. Everyone says you have to be really lucky to get it at Thunder Pass, but I don’t have a guild, so it’s hard to get there solo. You have to kill Omaking to enter, which is nearly impossible for an average player. And if you also need to kill a mini-boss and have a team escort you to a specific spot to make it work—that’s just unreasonable

What level and class are you? Oma lord is not really that hard if you know what you're doing. I'd be happy to help you out with it next time I'm on

“I just went to Past Bichon again, and I’m pretty sure that once you get two chips, killing more mobs with auras won’t drop any more. I’m not sure if there’s a similar restriction at Thunder Pass, but it really seems like some kind of account limit. Now at level 176, I’m speechless with how often the GM makes changes. You should give it a try—I’m pretty certain this has been modified.”

Omalord is actually quite easy IF you have lured him from any nearby pillars. If he is in range of any pillars he can one hit bdp pets, so he hurts...alot. if hes no where near any pillars then just becomes an easy to kill boss who doesnt hurt much at all really.
