Event Items questions.

Not fussed on Gold as I have plenty, Just annoyed that I seem to have so much bad luck and can't even get a break to have a decent arc pet like a Yim, I play 7 days a week for hours on end, spent real money on GG, I've used drop pots etc, Every time something drops it's a Tao or Warr item when I'm a Wizz, If I get a Wizz item and ID it the stats are always Holy never a stat I want.

I just want some luck for once a Snake Arc to drop for Me!!

I grinded the Xmas event and got no tiger or troll, yet I post on forum and get told "Oh people have been waiting for years to get one"..Well I've played Mir for years and get sweet FA!!.

I make a suggestion and people just put it down, what's the point anymore?

Only thing I can take from this event is a stress headache.

What's your in-game name? Next time I have one drop in event cave I'll pm you and you tele in as I tele out. I did it with a few frost tigers and snakes over xmas.

There's a Yim challenge every Saturday where 3 Snakes drop. If you don't get one this event don't stress, you will get one soon
 
Hi, I can confirm snakes drop from Thick packet cave and Pouch packet cave, also 100% true Dragon Evo Stones drop aswell . i was fortunate to get both in 1 day and now a very happy owner of a full grown Yimmy.
Other intresting items are Hunt Bags (50gg) I have had a few Gold and Silver ingots - Trader sell Silver 2,5 mil gold Gold 4 mil gold.
Game Subscription 7 and 15 days i have had drop.
I will leave also my snakes on the floor in the hope it will make someones day just as it did mine when it dropped.

Unfortunately I work every Saturday when Yim challenge is on, I have done it several times and always loose the roll or someone Pk's Me as that's the mentality of people lately.

I've been in a few groups with You C289.

I currently have 14 Thick Packets and 1 Large Pouch to work through, I've done nearly 40 packets so far and still had nothing.

Great logic putting Yim in for event so people waste £100 on GG to buy a stone to evolve it, Guess I can save My money as decent drops are being withheld for me.

Sorry if this sounds like I'm being harsh, but Yim is a very powerful pet that's designed to be premium, I played this game for nearly 2 years before I got one. They used to be very rare are being massively de-valued by the fact that they are being made so much easier to get. There are other things to focus on, and when you're higher level you can fight for one in the challenge

Entitled to ya own opinion pal, I just feel it's seems the same people getting the event arc's all the time, look at the comments on this post of who got one.

I grind everyday to try and get decent items and nothing ever drops for Me.


I'd like to see someone actually help Me in the Yim challenge give Me the Yim without being Pk'd for it.

The moment I put My char name in this chat people will retract wanting to help Me, so I'm waiting for those people who have offered to be in Mongchon to PM them personally.

Just finished 6 of 14 medium hunts and all I got was Scroll of Knowledge, Steroids and a Revive Scroll from the Loot Rat.
 
I believe the higher level ones give better drops, so if you're in the top tier with the level 170ish mobs then you should be getting the best drops

Thanks for your opinion, I'm an active player who plays 7 days a week. Never been a dick on Mir as it's not worth the hassle of being like that. Always happy to help everyone else out.
 
In general - I must disagree.
I also feel like I am very harshly done by with drops (I literally never get anything in normal non-event play), BUT... I have done quite a lot of the event caves - around 60+ and had 2 snakes and 2 Hardshell arcamon drop. I am by no means a high level rich or donating player.
I think you just need to stick at it, from my experience the pets have only dropped in the Large caves, but I have no reason to doubt others when they say medium caves too.

I didn't like the event before Scorpian made the changes tbh, but having a bit more fun since. I still don't break even on the caves even with a drop pot and max extermination meter, but maybe just because of the level/value of the items that drop - but I can see how higher level players can afford to cycle the caves.

With regards to event I agree with zade, some moderate price tier should be introduced. 0-130 5 mil, 131-160 7 mil and 161+ 9 mil
 
I got 20 snakes since Xmas but I’ve spent like 10k gg on events so it’s relevant. How much gg have u spent going in the caves?
 
Would be nice to see Warda or Scorpion jump in game when I'm online and not afk due to being at work and watch me in a cave to see how rubbish the drops from loot rat are being not only for Myself but for others.

I now own 50+ Rage potions/ 20-30 Scroll of Knowledge's and other random crap from the medium cave Loot Rat.

Your level and how much GG you spend/buy should have nothing to do with anything.
 
Without the double drops moon phase.. its not worth paying 30gg or 9mil per round of a large map.. to make this productive for me i would need to go and hunt the red rats which i don't mind but then i have the problem of event being too short in terms of time to make any proper use of the red rat system... and also there is this other issue of having to spend 60-70gg average for GG pots and timers that would last 2-3hrs... u really dont want to hunt red rats if you are on pots lol.. so i guess to maximise this event you would need to plan ahead.. like for example spend the first few hours hunting red rats and materials for pots then when u have enough tokkens for event then you can use those gg pots and smash the event map..

I think what DS is saying, that he’s entered a lot more caves in the event, meaning the more caves you do the more likely to get snakes. I myself had 4 at Xmas and had 2 in this event.

Just keep at it, it’s all chance, you increase your chances by doing more caves.

You have every perk stacked/maxed out.. so u must be loving it lol.. Full guild perks, all GG pots, sick eradication weapon, sick kit, top lvl and what not.. how many accounts full of items from this event? i bet you had to go make new email and account to store all those goodies..

Probably has less items stored from event than you would imagine. I used 90k scrolls on everything and anything that comes out with less than 6 stars gets sold to shop, anything else gets salvaged, if des/ess is less than 5 stars it goes on the floor. I suspect DS is even more strict in what he keeps, probably only interested in artefact...
 
Just like Xmas there's 3 types of "loot" rat (room 1/2/3) and 2 types of "rune" rat (room 1/ 2&3. All players get the same no matter their level. The only difference is the supporting monster spawns which drop items covering 5 of so regions. Higher level items happen to be more valuable but the lower level regions tend to drop more often. Gold drops are by design more generous to lower levels.

There is no reason a Rune rat or a Loot rat would be treating any one person unfairly. It's just statistics in a game designed around RNG

Like I said, I would like to see you in game when I kill the loot rat, I've done over 30+ Medium caves and got more scroll of knowledge then the tristram merchant.

All I hear is statistics being thrown about.

I logged in at 8am this morning and 3 medium, waited an hour and did 3 more, what a suprise scroll of knowledge dropped.

Only decent thing about this event is the do, Gold drops are annoying.
