I really hoped for something big this event, alas it’s panded the council house mob and Andy will have to holiday in Cornwall this year rather than Barbados. Was there a happy medium? Of course there was. GG, hope you all enjoy it
 
Aye nothing special in GG cave only a Bright Golen Egg splits to maybe a gem or a low end crystal and a collection Gold Egg for The bunny swap hand in items
maths I done is thus 20gg is 1 golden egg 60 gg is 3 golden eggs equals 1 Elysian ore so 60 GG times 81 is 4860 GG for Full Elysian Orb
Also there is no Drakes spawn in the GG caves like pervoius years so cant even collect eggs for quest when in gg cave ............
The sub 200lvl main cave so slow mob respawn was on my warrior there was a few wizzes in there and taos wiped the mobs in 2 secs so I stood around like a idiot for 30 mins before a few mobs respawned
Least Andy not getting any Holiday fund from me this event as happy just to kill what i find ..... and chill

Exp is Exp least no one can take it away from you ...............

This is is. Sometimes I can only grab an hour, which rules me out of public caves as there wasn’t enough mobs to go around in the cave I tried.

Happy to try GG caves but they seem geared towards Ely ore I guess. No coincidence on the pricing. If I had a slim chance of drop like before that would be good. The ones I tried there was even fewer items dropped.
 
There is no win for GM and his team, last event was mega drops and ppl complained about dead market and low prices.
and the community went "Andy only doing it for money", now he removed drops from GG caves and made a decent drop rate on main cave.
and then again ppl complaining about GG caves drops.
IMO event is so good, exp and drops are balanced, and its only been less than 24 hours of event, give it some time and happy leveling to everyone
 
For the record, I’m not slagging off the event! For years I have looked forward to these and happily handed over cash for an enhanced experience. I can’t compete with the 24/7 ers but I’m fortunate enough to be able to chuck a few quid in at event time. Just a shame we have gone from one extreme to another. Maybe just add dragons to the gg caves and a random chance of a boss? Middle ground perhaps
 
Actually there is a way each day to get the new gear but if your not 200 its hard ..... The Drenia scale quest gives access to hard version of river , run to 5th kill boss thats got 15mil HP solo a good geared tao took 50 mins to kill so you have to get there fast to give yourslef time and take lots of bunnies mp etc
and maybe get a 185 Burnt item from him ................. I know least 2 people who have done this ................
