Is there anyway we can have something like this added into normal caves? Essentially they would be smaller shards that drop from normal mobs, say the mobs in elysium maps etc....combine 3 and you get an ely ore.

The reason im suggesting it is because the collecting of ely ores takes so long and has be ome extremely tedious. most of the avenues for this are locked away in challenges and bdp/rdd. Now these are all well and good but when bdp is camped by certain individuals all the time, especially over double drops. And also since guild cave has been changed to this hidden ore system, you can easily go a week and do two guild caves and not have one hidden ore. You might find a sub but its not guaranteed that you will win roll.

I guess it would be nice to just be able to have a normal leveling place that you can also collect ely ores from.

Just some thoughts....
 
I think its a good idea the amount of unfinished Elysian Armours and weapons on the server is huge , I think in my guild we are only like 3 people out 15 who completed it and this was prior to the Guild Epic Change since then no one has even come close to completeing 2nd part in our guild.

I think it should like the OP says a shard from mobs collect 3 make a ore , rarity of drop should be medium to hard but defo not rare by rare standards as it be back to square 1 again ....

Ye I didn't mean Dragon Evolution stone rare maybe something like Acheron Relics type of rare
 
Yea about same drop rate as enchanted minerals or archeron relics would be just fine. It would just be nice to have a place to level and get a chance to collect ely ores, albeit at a slower pace because of the smaller size to create ores. Hopefully gm considers this in next updates as i think this would be a good update to help majority of players

If you do the 2 epics every week your gonna get 2-4 every week just off those and then do rdd etc as much as you can you can make the orbs in just over a month, which i don't think is an unreasonable time frame tbh.

Seems Epics you can,t quote those figures , only gaurantee is the subs if you got 10 people thats 4-8 ores , if all 10 collecting then maybe 2 a week if lucky , Hidden drop ores so random you can go 2-3 weeks without even 1 then if luck is on your side the moons align with extra chilli in your kebab you may get 3 on 1 epic ........
Weekly things like diablo etc very rare to find a sub such a demand and get swamped very early on openeing each week
BDP RDD yes good source , worth doing this using your DS in a group of mates/ guild more than once a week , only problem is the single instance at a time , most of the time its occupied because everyone doing same thing trying to get some ores ..... for the majority who work 9-5 means logging on at like 7pm 8pm ---- OCCUPIED
Still think elysian chips be worth considering as an alternative or adding the chip to the dailey returns quest based on 1 per day .......

Unfortunately as gritt has said, if your working or busy you might miss the guild epic. You might not win roll on an ore a sub drops and you might not even get any hidden ores drop for you. Epic used to guarantee some ores but not anymore tbh

Again with bdp or rdd (bdp maze being best source) they get occupied and camped a lot.

Challenges camped also with people sprinting to subs soon as it opens.

My suggestion is another source accessible by everyone, that could be collected while you simply level your char. Means everyone has chance to collect the materials.

BDP has become so frustrating. When you're ready to enter, there's always someone blocking it. The last Moon event was extremely busy on both days. I hope it gets changed so that more than one team can enter at the same time. One day handled by Daniel and another by Imms. The problem is, they were complaining before about Daniel not letting them in, and now they’re doing the same thing.

Bdp is an issue i agree. But not wanting my post to descend into a flame war could we hold off throwing out blame. This a feature i feel is strongly needed and probably wanted by majority of server. It would be relatively easy to implement and i would like gm to throw his opinion in at some point. Id rather not get the thread locked before that.
 
I think this is a good idea.

Even if the main drop was elysium chip's that drop, which then get combined into shards, and then combined into ores, it would be a million times better than the system we have now.

There's a difference Daniel locks it off so no one can get in when he's sleeping , doesn't necessarily use it every time he enters , but imms we use it every time we go in . If you can't get in before we do it's a skill issue? Just gotta be on the ball 😘

Don't think Scorp's Atari can handle hosting another load of bdp mobs without falling over otherwise he would of probably done it already😅
 
Scorps has confirmed before it is not possible to run multiple RDd and BDps at same time with current server configuration
The amount of work to make it happen I guess outways the reality of need
This said why can’t theee be an alternative instances like a ZT map with the KR where MIR king I being the end boss dragon
On initiation you get random BDP or RDd mobs and subs etc luck of the draw
I sure must be ways to improve the current situation as I know many players pulling hair out on this subject it’s not just the ores it’s the quest objects aswell
