Blocking chat

When you block them but they can still message you, they don't know they are blocked, it just doesn't show you the messages. It stays until you unblock.

Tbh I'd prefer if it gave the message that you are blocking like it does when you @Whisper

When i @Whisper i block everyone and when i block them and log out blocking be gone i mean i wanna block specific ppl permanently i wish if it possible

command if I remember rightly. Not 100% sure off the top of my head if this saves them into a block list, will have to check.
 
@private <character name> has always reset after you relog.

@Whisper is the best one and anybody on your friends list that wants to get your attention can use the in-game email that I suspect not many know about.

/@<character name> and press hotkey E to check your email inbox.

The ingame email feature is so underused because I don't think anyone knows about it haha. It might be used more if there was like an inbox icon or something, but it also opens up a new avenue for harassment which is a frustrating issue to deal with

It does notify you in the exp column if you are online but yeah maybe it wants adjusting to where you can only e-mail if you are both on each others friends list. At the moment you can only email players that are on your friends list but you don't have to be on theirs as well. Still, it is easy enough to ignore & subject to the same rules as public/private chat so people should report any offensive messages that they receive.

Update: Just testing this myself between 2 chars, if you receive an email whilst you are logged off, you get a notification you when you first log in. Which is also pretty cool imo

Thats handy to know, thanks! I have to admit it's about 5 years since I last tested this. Will have a play with it later to see what it looks like
