So, my 2 pence worth (and will keep on topic of a thank you thread).

Indeed, thank you! For me, the server lights up when events are on, I know I look forward to Xmas, Easter and Halloween (plus the oh so well timed contagion event).

Thank you for the exp. Outstanding! Thank you for the drops! Brilliant! And thank you for providing an area where you CAN hunt in peace, where the drops were nearly as good and the sheer volume of mobs made up for the lower exp. Generous!

But of course, the feedback would be diminished without a bit of heart felt honesty.

The PK (to start) in Snowbrook is at odds with the time of year. Goodwill to all. I do appreciate the PK seems to have lessened now, but Chrimbo is over... I would like to see the Christmas event to be one of harmony and bringing the server together (if such a thing is at all possible?) Let Halloween be the nightmare if needs be.

Speaking as a warr, lvl 179 at start of event but then quickly into 180, I found it really quite hard. In fact, at times, insanely hard. Hard as in 'died again' hard. The unofficial warr tax (rev scrolls) was quite punitive this year. So much so, it took cash away from my reserves to buy presents...

I know some didn't click with the event. On balance, for me, I enjoyed it immensely. Hard, but I thought fair, and with some excellent rewards.

The last three events you seem to have got spot on with the drop rates of the items that allow entry to the private caves. There have been previous events where this was not the case, and the overall feeling was one of frustration, but I didn't get that with this event. I lost count of the amount of small presents I picked up from the floor, hardly indicative of a shortage (and for those that say the small caves were rubbish, they still dropped some decent items in there!) Ok, it is a tad boring riding around looking for trees and Santas (but who said farming was fun?) Yeah, med and large presents were rarer, but I get why.

So, for me, an overwhelming positive experience. Thank you!

Hello @Scorpian,

I can`t find the send message option on your profile..

Thanks again everyone for your time, effort and feedback and support!

Good to see you both again always great to see original names

Great to be back mate. The game is better now than its ever been for new/returning players. Did not have an issue finding books and the event was perfect for taking out some levels.

Yea that’s the prob. Easy for new comers and returners but fucking dog shit for the ones who been supporting all the way through.

I spent north or 15k gg during Xmas event. I got less than a handful of artifact items. Bare in mind
300% magic find buff.
100% of magic find Santa items.
Treasurer stone.
Eradication weapon with max kill chain all the time.
99% of the items I found was 2*

Imagine what the real games like for us when we get fuck all even with all them buffs. All I wanted to do during Xmas was upgrade one belt. Did I get it done? Did I fuck. I found like 2 orange belts all event. And spent over £1000 on gg. I walked away with nothing of value from the event except a few ultra orbed items.

First event I massively regret buying gg for.

Books??? You found books???? I found 0 books. 0 gg shop items. 0 sources.

Yeh thanks for the event I appreciate it. But don’t think all the nerfs and nips go un noticed. Makes us more and more sour.

The 300% buff made literally 0 difference to the quality of the items we found. I have to ask myself,,,,,,, WHY do we pay real money for a 50% buff pot when we just got shown that +300% and +400% makes pretty much zero difference.

And naaaa I’m not even saying thankyou. Bollox to that. I feel robbed and feel like I had the piss taken out of us. IRL I’d fuck u up.

I mean you even took the 50% drop rate off Santa hats and replaced with magic find you fucking robbing cunt.

Non tradeable quest items and shit. Wtf is this game becoming. Certainly not the Mir I knew and loved.

I found low level books from bosses that I spammed, and a few runes from goblins that I sold for small amounts of gg which added up to me buying a subscription, and a couple of low level items from auction house. Didn't become minted but it was enough to keep me interested with playing the game and trying to get levelled up.

i do have to agree with DS on this, in previous events ive spent 1500-2000gg in private rooms and had 1 or 2 items that made it worthwhile (recall items - drake necky etc) this event i spent over 3k gg and best thing i had from gg shop was probably a hunt bundle, the amount of times i had stupid quest items in place of a random gg shop item was a joke.
Then we move onto the magic find issue, with max kill chain 120% and 300% and santa boots 50% (didnt bother with hat) = 470% magic find and i got barely any good legendary/artifact items. im not saying i expect every item to be that way , but to fill a bag with items and only get 2 6 star items rest were 2-4 star, does make us question magic find system.

Private rooms was spot on imo. Good xp and a small room to make for fast clearing.
Sadly seems people wanted the fast exp with mega rewarding drops. When if they used 90k scrolls and sold the items that dropped they would actually turn a profit and level for free.
I went to the normal cave once this year, that was fantastic imo. Really did a great job changing it from CT.

On the quest items, again the most vocal of people will have issue with them not being able to trade them. However for the rest of us and the casual player this system is by far better. Making them not expire and able to trade dilutes the quests and makes it too easy. So good job on that.

We are seeing a larger retention on players of a lower level. Which is fantastic to see. I think the changes to the skill drops and prices really played a big part in that.

Only issue, I found this event was the siege, the xp provided from the mobs was very low. unsure if it had the same mob updates as the caves(higher level) or not I didn't really check. But I teleported around and felt like I was getting barely any xp.

Overall what I played during the event I enjoyed. It was a nice change from previous years.

Well done and thanks.
