Scorps - URGENT FIX REQUIRED --- DARK AND FIRE CHIPS Now ACCOUNT BOUND ! ...........

Ok I wasnt going to post here (email has been sent ) but as the chips are on a timer and I am only 4 DARK chips away from completing the second upgrade Quest.

Due to the large amount of chips and how the timer works on each size chip and as they were not originally ACCOUNT BOUND until this mornings reboot , I put them on a storage Char MrBenn, this way I had space to see timers and meld to bigger chips when timers were running low .
This practice is logical as you have space to do so and can see very clearly which chip is about to expire etc .
Last night I was so happy that the end of the quest was in sight, the whole server has helped me collect them , Horde Legends Immortals and FirstBlood , it has been a real effort by many to see the 1st Tao weapon thats over 4,0 SA , not to mention my own time spent collecting them . 174 - 175 /32% in just over 6 days .....

Please remove the ACCOUNT BOUND from them so I may complete the Quest , if anything infuture why not make the chips with No Timer that way many more would be able to enjoy gathering at a normal pace ..............

I hope you read this in time before my chips dissapear and 10 day s of hard graft by many good people and myself is utterly wasted ........

I also would like to take the time to thank everyone that helped me it means alot to recieve such help ....

Making these bound to account is isn’t ideal , the second upgrade is near on impossible for a Tao or anyone really . The players with the completed versions of the EM weps received help from Their guilds , honestly don’t think it’s fair to make these bound at this stage tbh . Fingers crossed it gets changed :/

Jesus christ we've all been helping you collect these. This is a total joke!!! This quest is impossible to do if they account bound.
 
Yeah randomly making things account bound with no warning is a bit rubbish. I've got a fully levelled hardshell stuck on an account with no chars above level 100, feeling your pain man

Possibly a stupid question but as chips are about as rare as rocking horse poo, if they are now account bound does this mean you have increased the drop rate to make it a more realistic quest? Surely the whole point of an in game quest is to be achievable and by binding these to account especially with active players reducing in numbers it means that unless you don't work/go to school and can live and breath Mir you will never complete stage two of the quest.

Giving the current average user count and on top these chips expiring and account bound as default and as well as the original difficulty of getting these chips is putting way too much pressure on a person who wants to do the quest. as hard as it was already now ppl cant even seek help from their friends or guild members because of this new restriction with account bound.. too aggressive imo!! personally unless i am 99% committed, i would never do these quest.. and right now i am about 9% committed... still entertainment

Are you being serius now ? Is gem account bound now? If they are you making an already near impossible thing for a "normal" life person even more impossible. I realy need this to be cobfirmed of GM that gems for quest from now on are account bound.

If i understand correctly. the quest items dont expire anymore like they did before.

So basically even if you dont play much, you can save up quest items and finish them eventually.

I’ve done it three times it’s not that hard. They expired then aswell. Can be done in 5/6 days if you really go for it. Now u get the option to do it over time rather than intensive hunting in pb for days/weeks on end

I agree they don’t need to be account bound. People will want to buy 2% fire and dark res stones to slot in items. They’d fetch a pretty penny too.

think you might have missed the point. From how your worded that, it would imply as though you're just letting others gather them for you? I agree with DarkStyle just do it over time, it maybe takes a little longer but it just means you have to go it alone or be with a group at the time of hunting them. Certainly not impossible by any standards. If scorp made them non account bound, they'd just accumulate and end up getting to the point where people can almost just buy their way through a quest clearly designed to reward patience and perseverence. Then you're back to the old arguement of "player with the biggest bank wins".

If u only have 1 max 2 hour a day. U think it are "not to hadd" to finish in 5-6 days also ?

It's entirely possible, just not for war tbh. Wiz can clear tp twice in that time at the least. Lots of supers/champs then.

if your doing the zuma quest and need corrupt gems thats going to take a long time as its not a very pleasant place at all to solo as a war. PB quest of EM i think you can do within a week or 2 especially if your doing it during double drops or double supers
 
Tbh if its account bound but the timer has been removed then its ok.. the quest can be achieved. It might take longer but it would be achievable still

I 100% dont agree with account bound and expiry on them tho..
