When I try and take there, it says "must unlock portal from the other side"

Any idea what this means or how I do it please?
 
Hero requirement for SWT is a new one on me, might be true but I wasn't aware :)

Anyway, to unlock it you need to get to KR the old fashioned way, portal just takes you to the entrance which is like a 30 second run from the portal anyway

I wasn’t sure tbh, remember not being able to tele there, did hero’s and went or b4 trying again so never knew which the trigger was

I had been to KR tonnes of times without having done heroes and the portal never worked. After doing heroes I'd been to the KR a few times then checked the portal one day and it suddenly worked. I'm guessing you have to be a hero to use the portal but I have no idea if it will activate automatically after becoming a hero or if you have to visit the KR again as a hero to get it working.
 
Interesting. I might try it out on a store char sometime. I did heroes quest at like level 80, well before I was high enough for SWT. So I'd have missed that restriction
