New PC Display help

After my PC went pop this morning I've got a new one to run Mir which now runs Win 10 Pro, my old PC was a number of years old running Win 8 and had no problem displaying Mir full screen on a 27" Samsung curved screen, for the life of me I can't figure out why I can't get it to do this on the new one.

I am now getting a condensed screen with black lines to the left and the right of the Mir Application and fonts looking condensed. Any idea how to get my fullscreen back as was so much easier on the eye?

Have you tried right clicking on home screen and go into display settings?
I had a issue the same it seemed to work for me

Thank you, so far I have tried...

Compatability modes for Win XP, Win 7 & Win 8
Forced to run as administrator for all users
Tried different screen resolutions to fit

Just nothing I can think of resolves the issue. It is playable but not like it was on the old PC which although lower spec and considerably older was better for Mir lol.

There's usually a setting in the display driver to stretch on maximise or something. Search google for something like "black bars" and include your particular graphics card manufacturer
