Is Balrog meant to be possible

Just curious, is it there as a "you shall not pass" idea, or is it meant to be possible to actually kill this?

I doubt it's ever been killed, and I'd be kinda pissed if it doesn't drop anything. But I'm really keen to give it a go.

Input from GM or anyone else is appreciated, especially from anyone who's had a go at it before <3

In p69 it takes a few hits to kill and drops nothing but it has over 65k DC which is crazy.

Annoyingly, invasive thoughts kicked in when I was a wee' lad and the first monster I thought to my self "oh, I wonder how much damage this does" happened to be a Balrog on P69.

You can still get that very easily from the low level balrog in mines of moria, it's a 1 hit kill

Its possible to kill but going to take ages with poison. I kill one

The BalRog use to 1 hit kill any player. It was rife for recall pk back in the day. So the medal at one time was pretty cool, as the mob itself was actually quite solid compared to how much less powerful our characters were back then
