Having spent so much time gold cash etc on events this has to be the worse event in the servers history ...
90k scrolls over 50 of them in gg caves , lvl 170 quest items 45% no quest build items ....... dont want rich drops just when you have 3 ghouls that at least 1 of them drop a quest item not much to ASK ...................
tO TOP IT ALL YOU GET PEOPLE WHO DONT PLAY MUCH OR WORK AT CHAR GETTING FREE UPGRADES AND BETTER GEAR THAN THOSE WHO DO , THOSE WHO LOG IN DAY IN DAY OUT WHO BUILD CONTIRBUTE TO THE SERVER ETC CONTINLY GETTING SHAFTED BY THOSE WHO ONLY ONLY LOGIN ON AT EVENTS .............. TAKES THE PISS YET AGAIN

I tried alt chars guess what I got in 10 runs 4 90k scrolls and 3 quest items rest 170 quest stuff fire gems etc

I worked out I don’t need to constantly contribute in 2025 i just hold my gg i have and buy what i want when I want and not spend a penny on any future event
I touch my toe in the water but If it’s like this event then it’s fuck it do deals on the side gg for stuff without having to line pockets with cash

Ouch is it really that bad? Tbh the past 5 events i had played seemed like not events atall and more grindy then the game itself, certainly not the events i used to remember which is why i have given the last 3 a miss, not sure what the intentions are with the recent “events”” but they seem to be doing more harm then good.
 
I'm taking a different angle, I don't really care about drops or exp, I just want fun challenging mobs to kill. I don't bother with the free caves because the community pisses me off and I avoid interacting with other players whenever I can these days, so I exclusively do the gg caves, and they just aren't engaging enough, far too easy, do them in my sleep. Make them harder and give us something that is a challenge. And before people go on about "well your kit is OP what about new players or people who don't p2w", I'm doing this on my wiz and most of my kit was OP when I built it all 2+ years ago, it really is kinda average now so I don't think this is a factor. I log on, do 2 or 3 gg caves while watching a youtube video then go and do something else because it's just not engaging enough.
 
Pretty sure it’s not copy and pasted. Patch notes alone would have taken a while. It’s one gm and he’s wife. Not an entire squad of game coders. How about a bit of appreciation. All I see on these forums is people mad at gm because they don’t like the event. I been so excited to play all Christmas and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and don’t regret spending a penny of what I have so far.

Agree its not copy pasted plus he mad hard work on it . Maybe the scroll is buged we don't know .

It is almost the exact same event as last year's Christmas event - the only changes is that the drops are a lot worse, and he removed the daily guild cave. It really is a copy + paste event.
 
I'm sure it looks like copy and paste, it feels that way to myself but truth is it's an uphill battle every event. You've basically got six full dungeons in game and there's a total of 70 unique monster profiles all with drop files and everything attempts to cater for all the players & levels in game. It all needs revising/updating each time based on both previous feedback and game progression.

The feedback last year for the Guild hunts was a) they were unfair; and b) they were a waste of time, so yes they were removed.

I don't really know what to say about the scrolls, we can change it to something else but they are really there to make it easier to ID and sell junk items that drop. Drop rates on rares etc are basically increased every event but that must also have it's limits. The value you put on the drops is directly linked to the value of the items in game and the more that drop the less value they have. Its clear to see with Elysian items. We increased as requested but no one cares now as the market is saturated

Happy to take ideas for improvements

Bought 1550gg to do some levels, done 3 levels so far and still 700+gg left. Can't really fault it. I don't have the same amount of time to put into the game as I use to have, so repeating Private Caves is ideal. Loyalty Shop helps with buying Finding Elixirs & the Demon Soul shop helps with buying Training Elixirs. The game has never been as easy as it is right now and that shows with the amount of people still grinding levels beyond the "soft cap".

Honestly events are there to bring people back to the game, make it an easy and enjoyable couple of weeks for the hard grinders. I think you have achieved that.

The only thing what can improve the game is the lack of pvp which is beyond GM intervention.

Drops have been "ok".

Ive spent about 1400gg and had one ely brace and an epic para ring. Other then that i managed to upgrade helm to frozen ely and also nearly leveled to 199 on wiz so not all bad...

I think server needs new items introduced soon, this will mean ely items being so common wont matter anymore, it will just be like cele transition to elysian again. This will help the market by again having true rare items. Release new higher shop items aswell at same time. This will help trickle items back into the market for newer players as people upgrade.

It also means all the items ely orbed eventually become obsolete and people need to work to upgrade the newer items released.

We also need new higher level bdp/rdd caves.

Very curious what u will be able to spend the 140 goblin runes on without any eyes? Cost a small fortune to collect them
 
It is rather odd that lower levelers get bullied by fighters and spearmen in the first three caves on the first floor but in 141+ they do not until 2f, where most have access to a frost guard at 150.. also RTs able to be used in some caves but not others.
 
Can't please everyone. Look how saturated the game is with ely items now and they supposed to be rare. At least it gives lower level player the chance to have better kit. I spent a shed load on gg and only wanted a frost tiger and didn't get one but thats life. I guess i'll have to wait til next year.

The Grotto Palace is good btw! I am enjoying that. Decent drops and good exp.
