Not sure how general population feel about this but personally think drop rates in the higher end caves are a bit low. Demoralising to the point of questioning if to continue playing.

I feel we have got to this point through circumstances generated in the last 9 months. A 100% drop rate from hero’s leg and a massively op killchain bonus feature. I believe due to these 2 factors drop rates (rightly so) where set accordingly.

With hero’s buff now reduced and with killchain under review (half the buff would be my suggestion) I think a small increase in server drop rate would not go a miss to compensate the new gap, or maybe a improved and more expensive drop pot from gg shop? One or the other ofc not both.

Also on the topic of gg shop, a couple of people I know mentioned they would like a gg torch as a possible purchase. 5gg for 10% 10gg for 20% one maybe. Lastly I think the gg needs an update based on purchases, how many orbs are bought at that price? Not even pure ones! Andy, please please please share how many people bought how many storm orbs :p
 
I did notice things were especially sparse after the cap update, but it's been picking up for me recently to the point where I feel like the heroes league buff is having more effect than it's meant to. Might be time for a ground up review of how drop rates actually work and if they are fair for everyone.

About the orbs in gg shop, I think at current prices if they were ultra orbs they might get some sales... something to think about

Randomly off topic, but evil tongs, are these meant to drop anything? I just leave them now as they aren't worth the time it takes to kill, maybe make them a bit more special? They could be the new zuwoomas, make them drop 8-12 gems, then people might actually start killing them :p
 
Just to confirm you are referring to just Bug Cave and Catacombs? Or did you mean to refer to Zuma Temple, Orc City etc too?

Not sure if you are asking if Killchain changed (it hasn't)

The trouble with Drop Rate % is that it's hard for a player to measure - XP rate has numbers right away you can measure but Drop Rate % is almost irrelevant, you either get a drop or you don't. Looking at drop spread, the Heroes League buff was far too powerful hence the reduction in %.

As for orbs.. yeah fair enough haha

Evil Tongs - the drop rate is low for sure but this is not meant to be a region for item drops. Will consider that suggestion though.

I think we were just spoilt with the hero’s buff before. As far as kill chain I know it was mentioned in another post that maybe it’s op and needs reduction (I agree).
Cata drop rates do seem low, killed 3 big bosses for not a single item and just one items from 11 kills of the subs. Fair enough to keep the items rare, but how about Chucking some other stuff in?
BC is dropping just about right, the issue there is exp is too easy.
