While I'd personally benefit from something like that, it does push us further in the direction of pay2win...
People with unlimited gg get to play with zero risks
Nobody should be playing with zero risks
If you had a choice between current system or Rev scrolls with 1 min cool down and an option to buy a scroll to protect items from mob kills what would you choose?
A double cheese burger and a Large Cola, thanks mate
imo, nothing should change its fine how it is atm
Personally I don’t see a major issue with how it is now, (been like this for 3+ years) and hasn’t been an issue. No more Uber items and things spelling for over 2k gg on a regular basis. Has this had an effect maybe?
As far as pay to win goes, I call bs, you have never needed irl cash to make gg here. I’ll give you one example, when em was re done and fire guards came out they were in high demand. I could go to em and just farm the pillars solo (and use 20-30 Rev scrolls) get 2 and sell them for 600+ each. I did this 3 times in a week and made 3k (ty imms for your great policy and refusal to sell excess fire guards outside the guild for week I did this) my point is there’s always a way of making gg on this server, you just have to work it out.
If nerd n 5s really believed in this cause it would have been seriously mentioned before.
Anyways don’t want this to turn into a flame thread, there’s claims of abuse of current system that I’m totally unaware off, but if this is an issue it needs to be addressed! All I’m rly, concerned about is loosing my kit if I make a silly mistake in a dangerous cave solo cos I’m not silly op like a wizz
You just said it your self, you could use 20-30 scrolls. With a tao you probably wouldn't need to use any. This is the point. It's wrong that this is an option. By spending 2-300gg you was able to kill something you couldn't without the gg that's pay to win.

I 100% can see why you see it as pay to win. However, can’t it been seen as using gg to make gg? Mine was an example of how you can make gg without irl cash or “paying”
Money makes money, it’s a fact of life and Mir I’m afraid. By the same logic you should close AH and not aloud people to trade as they are paying to win...... absolutely ridiculous I know and I’m not suggesting we do that for a second lol
The fact we have gg on the server means people will always “pay to win” the only alternative is a euro style subscription only server (and ppl still sold gold on eBay)
I do see your point, however it isn't a stretch to then say buying anything from any merchant in game - ie pots / Random teleports = pay to win
If, like most other games, the GameShop items were exclusively £ items then it would be completely different
I'm not sure why this has come to a head now some 3 years after they were introduced but maybe someone can explain so I can understand the situation. Is it the new pvp dynamics?
Your example was for statues, my point is you can do it for any boss.
Basically in there current format they are infinite hp, they allow you to kill stuff that people shouldn't be soloing. All because your prepared to waste the gg.
As for not being able to buy items for gg, 2 entirely different things. You can buy all the best kit but still die, sure if you have £££ to burn you have an advantage kit wise. But that's entirely different. Right now if you have enough gg there isn't a single thing you couldn't solo.

The main problem now is more and more people are using them in non drop areas to grief. For instance you can go yim risk no kit, start a fight and clear an entire group if your prepared to waste the gg.

so apart from the odd event map and yimis maps for 1 hour once per week when is this an issue? surely the solution would be to make these maps drop zones no rather than going after rev scrolls?
I believe I've raised other points? Soloing bosses because you can die 10 or 20x isn't right, infinite hp because you don't mind wasting gg isn't right lol.
I'm all for no drop zones being made drop zones, would definitely fix that side of things. But then what's the solution to prevent main bosses being bought?
who says it isnt right? you? what makes you right? You have just as much right to buy and use gg as everyone else. Current system been in place for ages yet you havnt said anything before. now some one has chuck a load of rev scrolls down in yimis and pissed you off?
as for buying bosses - its risk and reward over your use of gg. as has already been established you dont need irl cash to become gg rich. The fact you can buy gg is actually irrelevant and you should find another server if your not a fan of this system.
Being one of the people to use rev scrolls in the way I've described, obviously your going to get defensive over them.
I couldn't give a fuck how much they waste in yim, however looking past my own nose, I see how this can impact on other people.
Just because something has been in-game for years and not been complained about is kinda irrelevant right? I mean take pdr for instance, how long has that been in-game? Your logic we shouldn't change anything because it's been in-game for that long right....
I'm pretty sure when scorp adds super bosses he doesn't log a 180 warrior stack a bag of rev scrolls and solo it to test but maybe he should
Fact being your opinion on if you believe the way they are being used is right, is also irrelevant, I have seen them being abused and posted on the forum's. Made a suggestion. A suggestion which would stop them being abused as they are.
I feel I've pretty much said all I care to on them, your entitled to your opinion and I'll leave you to rant away, but try to remember this is a suggestion and my opinion. Based on what I have seen.
