Hey,
I don't think that's game side mate, try restarting your PC and see if that does anything.
Does it minimise with other programs on your PC as well or just Mir?

Nothing changed, reinstalled the whole game, restarted PC. Was just coming back form holiday and switched on so nothing changed there.
Only mir related unfortunatly.

Out of curiosity what did you do that fixed it? Just for future knowledge so I can share if someone else has the same problem :)

right click short cut and properties - what mode have you got under Run: Minimised by any chance?
Updated drivers updated windows, removed game mode in windows, dunno what did it in the end but its working now ;)
I have had issues like that when an app in the task bar does "something"
