tbh i haven't played for weeks, because the way i see it (and no zade i dont need your opinion on how pve is so great) the game atm is just broken in so many ways with regards to pvp.

i did however log on today to go to sunken challenge with pop / pooks and its pointless, we get a sub and the elys whores just come and repulse us away so that they get the kill, honestly what is the point of the challenges when there is attack modes that allow this type of grief play? set the caves to peaceful to eliminate this bull crap, or continue to leave it as it is and lose more players.

Nah, I agree with you though. I used to enjoy those challenges, went every week. I don't even want ores, I just want fun. But I don't bother any more because last time I went the exact same thing happened. I got 1 sub to myself and 4 ppl appear and just repulsed me away while the rest of their group steal it. No way to compete. Just makes the whole thing boring.

I fully expect the same thing to happen in event. Last few events I've just stuck to gg caves for this reason, but they are so easy they aren't engaging. There's no middle ground, either do private stuff solo that's so easy you can do it in your sleep, or go a public cave and get zero chance of having any bosses or lures.

Why not gm make it free zone and going to be more challenging
 
Yimms used to be a really good hunt for lower guilds to help noobs out and get items but now its so hard and just farmed for ely ore by high lvls and i bet the mobs dont even get touched now.

as stated pvp is already broken enough with what with unlimited resistance which is a key factor in ridiculous defense, i think my suggestion of making it peaceful is far more helpful towards the server as whole as opposed to yours which would undoubtedly benefit the small minority who have already and continue to exploit every avenue of gaining these stupid ores.

Yim is still good exp for all, ore hunt is just 10 mins
then u get to lvl for like 2 hrs

U need a better kit mate . I think u need work on ur kit abit after that am sure u can solo there.

Nobody goes just brolly / luci / ammar / skyee and now aksana.

Pointless for anyone else to go and not enjoyable.

Soon they will have the server to themselves which im sure they will enjoy temporarily untill the realisation sets in of how boring it will become, or knowing there ego’s built on based on a fantasy rpg they may well enjoy the false sense of achievement. Either way ruining it for everyone else.
 
I’ve never been to those because it’s a waste of my time for the reasons outlined.

The high resistances which can be stacked have broken PVP. And the only thing left for the higher levels is to hunt Ely ore. Because it’s all eggs in one basket to get the best kit. So that leaves us casual lower levels unable to really engage with the game due to it.

I’m swaying on quitting entirely myself. I don’t have time to level all day every day and I can’t get near half the elements of the game because of that and those high levels that tele around farming everything.

The PVP gap used to be interesting in Mir because lower levels could compete with the right kit and a bit of skill - but there’s too big a gap here that can’t be closed.

I agree challenges should be accessible to all and be good fun. Making them so, who knows how. Maybe a free zone is a good start. Maybe remove Ely ore from the drops.
 
PvE guilds use to be left alone of course until ElysianOre is involved. Anyway it is what it is, there's loads of stuff to do on the game and let the higher lvls have the Elysian farms.

All safe zone for challenges will do is like an event in Halloween where everyone spams poison and everything else on subs hoping that they get the kill. That is not fun either.

As a community have we failed? Does the competitive nature of Mir not suit 2025? Who knows. Let's see what happens in May and whether any details are altered surrounding ElysianOre. I shall not hold my breath.

Another solid long time player cashed in on his items earlier this week 😔
 
I believe that if the GM removes Ely ore, people will still find something else to complain about. These days, we don’t have players we just have people who are good at typing.

It's like always GM do this or GM, please do that.

Mir people have always been like this.

Why not just make the game PvE and be done with all this nonsense?

Resistance has become part of the game at the moment; you can't just remove it or make a place a safe zone for that.

Resistance is not the issue, the issue is the small minority of people farming and exploiting the only viable options of others being able to obtain the same resistance as those doing the farming / exploiting, I havnt suggested removing elysian ores or the resistances they provide… merely adapting the weekly events to peaceful so that grief play imposed once again by the small minority isnt an issue for the rest of the server and others who want to collect the ores, the same way epic hunts and RDD / BDP had to be altered to prevent the mass farming from mass guild creations, ultimately if people werent so desperate for them we wouldnt have to alter anything but when you once again have a small minority who are so driven and will impose any and all tactics to exploit the system we have no other choice but to have to change things to make it fair for the rest of the server.

If you are in for ore, why you complain about whoever goes for it.
If you go to enjoy the hunt and exp, I do not think any of us attacked after the ore is done.
and you can always have some ore in peace in BDP/RDD/Epics

weekly challenges have been too easy and had to be revamped, I guess that's why GM added ely ore to those.
Imo any guild can group and take the low lvls to yim or whatever and have some decent exp, you guys just cba.
